Trust.

It's odd that I read psychological articles about health and lifestyles on the net. It's odd enough that I read articles on relationships and trust. But i felt like i had to, something caught my eye.

Trust is an essential part of a relationship.

It's good tips, definitely i would say. But i think its truly significant to people who have been hurt before. Trusting someone isn't quite the same anymore, distrusting a person becomes a way of life. It's unnatural to let go without the slightest thought of weariness.

  • Be consistent.
  • Be on time.
  • Do what you say you will do.
  • Don't lie -- not even little white lies, to your partner or to others.
  • Be fair, even in an argument.
  • Be sensitive to the other's feelings. You can still disagree but don't discount how your partner is feeling.
  • Call when you say you will.
  • Call to say you'll be home late.
  • Carry your fair share of the workload.
  • Don't overreact when things go wrong.
  • Never say things you can't take back.
  • Don't dig up old wounds.
  • Respect your partner's boundaries.
  • Don’t be jealous.
  • Be a good listener.

Yeaps. It's worth giving a shot isnt it. sighs.
This is life. But seriously, no matter how hard you try, some things still stick like glue don't they? It's not anyones fault that people have issues. They just are.

Hugs and kisses,
