he thinks, i say..

When I'm standing in the dark I'll still believe
That someone's watching over.

had a convo with a friend today. started pretty weirdly and took a turn for a serious note.

it seems that his way of looking at things may sound pretty reasonable to some considering the way myfriend puts it, but nevertheless, my stand still holds. wonderfulfriend has his own way of looking at things and so do i. and no, we didnt go into a debate. we just exchanged views.

he thinks:
when getting into a relationship, you cant be too serious about it. you cant look into the future too much. Neither can you put too high expectations. His reason of getting into a relationship is because he wants to spend time with the person he loves no matter how long the relationship will last, be it even 1 week. Love comes easy to him.

I say:
when getting into a relationship, you HAVE to think about the future. you HAVE to consider the consequences, what you're getting yourself into, how you will adapt to both party's lifestyle, seeing a future with the person..blablabla[yes, a lot of hard thinking to do]. Reason being relationships are ultimately meant for marriage.
Disagree about thinking hard?

Then why do you want a girlfriend/boyfriend to begin with?
So if you ask me, relationships dont come easy with me. how many gazillion things i have to consider before getting into one.
yesyes, sometimes simple things made complicated. But its reality! if you dont think, youre in fact wasting time on the relationship.

so yeah, both views contradict each other. But to me, even if i like that person, if he doesnt fit what i want in my-future-husband-to-be, what's the use right? In simple words, relationships are hard for me. And i take it seriously. no playplay matter.=) a long long long process...verylong. God knows how long its gonna take for me.Haha
